Delayed Halloween work! Happy hallooween! 
Perhaps not so original idea of a horror scene you could walk into when you wake up in the middle of night and decide to go check on the weird noise you heard (the basic horror movie mistake one can make + leaving your window open for the night)
I sort of ran out of patience in the end with this, but I hope it doesn't show too badly
