Omg transitional page, and you waited this for a month!? Yes, and this actually took a while, backgrounds or sceneries are never easy, especially ones that show seasonal changes! x-x
I wanted to have something before such a major skip in time and moving into the final chapter of the comic, to the so called "epilogue". Now you can already start guessing how big of a skip in time we are talking about! (hint, this page is suppose to show the time passing..)
A lot changed? little? Is the war anywhere near an end? Are lupines running or fighting? We shall see!
(and no, it will not be text epilogue, but still very much a comic)
I am gonna submit some sketch things relating to comic characters soon, so you have something to look at before the next page, since that will probably take a while as always..
I bet this page will suffer a major loss in views and faves and.. well everything, because it has no anthros and I cannot submit it into half of the groups I am in.. XD
I hope the image quality is ok, because this time I used a different program for editing. (veeeeery old photoshop)

Analyzing this epilogue page, by season changing, two years have passed. From the upper - left corner of this page, it was summer. That was the time when lupines confronted with the leonines. And the season changes until reaching the bottom - right corner of this page, it's already spring. I counted two summers, two autumns, two winters and finally two springs. That shows two years have passed. From summer two years ago to spring two years now.
